Lime and lime derivatives manufactured by the Group:
Lime is used either as raw material, additive or catalyst in every process from iron&steel to plaster, whitewashing and white brick (ytong, aerated concrete); from animal feed to food, sugar, paper, leather and glass industries; from petrochemical productions to the chemical industry.
It provides desulphurization (flue gas treatment) as a solution for the flue gas of industrial facilities using coal or fuel oil (fossil fuel). It offers environment friendly solutions for domestic and industrial waste water treatment. Another important field of use is thesoftening of the process water.
It is used as organic fertilizer (Calne) regularizing soil nutrient and pH balances in agriculture of any kind and as barn and poultry house disinfectant (Caldez) in animal husbandry.
Roof whitewashing practice provides thermal insulation and prevents bacterial formations particularly during the summer months.
Through tree whitewashing, it prevents sunburns, parasite and lichen formations appearing on tree trunks.
It enables soil stabilization in the construction sites of roads, airports and big areas.
